While Zettle Pro has been a popular platform for many years, our other tools and integrations could now offer more effective long-term solutions for your business. This means that Zettle Pro will retire on 31 May 2022 and will no longer be available.
What does this mean for you?
For your POS, moving from Zettle Pro to our Zettle point-of-sale app may fit your business. Alternatively, we’ll work with our network of integrated POS partners to help you find the most suitable replacement. You can get in touch with our support team to take you through some options to build a new setup. In terms of taking payments, you can still use Zettle to make transactions.

What do you need to do now?
Save your reports. If you want to keep your reports for your own records, please do so by 31 May 2022. After this date, you won’t be able to access your reports.
To save a copy, export your historic Zettle Pro data to CSV or XLSX formats, which you can then download. You can download whichever reports best suit your business. The following reports should cover the essentials:
- Sales by Category
- Sales by Terminal
- Transaction Total
- Tax Breakdown
- Sales Log
If you use the loyalty feature, you can download your customer records from Backoffice.
You should also retain your gift card and deposit data, if you use these features. This data is available in Backoffice.
For the highest level of accuracy, we recommend taking this data as close to the date you cancel your Zettle Pro subscription as possible.
What happens with my subscription fees?
We recommend cancelling as close to your renewal date as possible. In any event, your subscription will automatically be cancelled when Zettle Pro retires on 31 May 2022.
- If you have a monthly subscription and cancel on or before 30 April 2022, your access will continue until the end of that month’s subscription period. If you cancel on or after 1 May 2022, you will pay for the period until 31 May 2022 when Zettle Pro retires.
