When you buy something from a seller who uses the Zettle service, you can choose to have a receipt sent to you via email or text message.
The Zettle service is provided by PayPal UK Ltd (“PayPal” or “we”).
If you provide your email address or mobile number, we will remember your details for the next time you buy something from a seller using the Zettle service, using the same payment card. This is regardless of whether you've previously bought something from this seller or not.
This means that your email address or mobile number will be pre-filled in the receipt view for your convenience the next time you buy something from a seller who uses the Zettle service.
PayPal UK (company number is 14741686) Ltd Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH is responsible for this processing of personal data and will only use your email address or mobile number to send receipts to you.
We will never use your personal data for any other purposes than to send receipts to you and will not share them with anyone else, unless we collect your written consent or inform you prior to initiating any processing for new purposes or a purpose that is compatible with the purpose for which we collected the personal data, all in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Stop receiving digital receipts
If you want to stop receiving receipts, you simply opt-out directly in the email in which you received your digital receipt by clicking ‘Stop receiving digital receipts’. After you have done that, you will no longer receive digital receipts from Zettle merchants.
